We just had another enjoyable evening at Feed My Starving Children in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is an experience we participate in regularly with friends.
As I was doing the heat sealing of the packages tonight, I couldn't help but notice the many children excitedly filling the plastic bags with rice, soy, chicken and veggies thinking about their counterparts, somewhere in a poor land, who are anxiously waiting for a healthy meal to replace their mud pies. I felt grateful for organizations like FMSC that provide opportunities for blessed people like us to help hungry children in a poor country with no resources. I kept thinking of what Jesus said. "When you have done to the least of these, you have done it to me".
